Because the Owl and the Pussy Cat was a rather long poem, Room 7 was given 2 weeks to learn it. However today, during our memorisation test, over half the class knew all 3 verses already! So... a new challenge (albeit optional). Here below is the song sung by the dwarves in chapter 1 of the Hobbit about their journey to reclaim their stolen gold from the dragon. This song has many verses so the challenge (for the super memorisers of Room 7) is to see how many verses you can memorise. I look forward to seeing how many you can remember!
