Today Hazel bought in 2 Tiger Slugs for Room 7 to keep as pets! These were found by her mum at the garden centre where she works. We were very excited and we all decided that we needed a proper home for them. Tiger Slugs (or Limax Maximus) are omnivore which mean they eat both greens (like leaves and grass) and meat (like bugs). So while some of us helped to prepare a new home for them, the rest of the class went out on a bug catching mission (to find live food for the hungry slugs!). Here are some photos of the morning's events.
