Over the last 2 nights, Russley School has wowed audiences with their performance of Cirque de Russlee. Last night, Room 7 had their turn at being Mrs Flannery's orphans. They were UNBELIEVABLE!!! Their singing and dancing was amazing and they looked incredible! Check out photos of the show below. Wow... look at all the snow!!!
It has been an exciting last few days with all this snow! I hope you and your family are keeping warm and having lots of fun!!! Looking around the city it is so great to see everyone out and about making snowmen, igloos and enjoying snowball fights!!! What fun have you been having? What have you been making in the snow? Tell us all about it in the comment section below, or you can email me [email protected] your snow pictures and I will post them up here for all to see! In the upcoming Russley School production, Room 7 are playing miserable orphans! We live in Mrs Flannery’s (played by Megan) mansion. She hates us, and we hate her even more!.
As the orphans, we sing the song “Hard Knock Life” From Annie. We also, at the end, have to fight caption Puton (played by Cody) and his men (Room 4). We have 3 weeks until our performance where we shall act in front of hundreds! The story is mainly about a girl called Jenny (played by Tiffin). She lives in a bookshop. One day she finds an old music box with a picture of a circus on the lid. She winds it up and is transported to another place in time. She wakes up in a village called Nevarain. Whilst she is there she met 2 orphans called Mike (played by Callum) and Susan (played by Isabella). She convinces them to run away and help her get back home! They discover a poster advertising the O'Malley's circus and in fact it is the very same picture that is on the lid of the musicbox. They decide that the only way they will solve the puzzle is by going there! It is going to be such an exciting show full of action, comedy, singing and dancing. To find out more then watch the show.
